Digit 5

Digit 5 is Agility Robotics' fifth-generation industrial humanoid, developed from more than 65,000 hours of real-world Digit operation. The 1.81 m, 129 kg robot can repeatedly lift payloads up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and reach heights of 2.2 m (7.2 ft). Its 90-minute battery can recharge autonomously in nine minutes, providing a 10:1 run-to-charge ratio and more than 20 productive hours per day. Digit 5 uses multiple sensing technologies, proprietary human-detection software, an independent safety controller, visual and auditory motion cues, and behaviors that allow it to avoid people, stop or assume a seated position when necessary. ISO-standard mounting flanges support swappable grippers for tote handling, machine tending, kitting, sequencing, inspection, palletizing and other industrial workflows. Early access is expected in the first half of 2027, with general availability for manufacturing, warehouse and distribution operators expected by the end of 2027. Product specifications and certain safety features remain preliminary while the platform is in development.
